I would totally recommend for everyone to watch this anime. It is really good, especially with L in it, in the movie he soo freaking cute and i love his character. You can also read the manga, but watching the anime is really awesome. :]]]]

A Zanpakutō, is the Japanese word for Soul Cutter. This is the weapon used by all Shinigami, Visored, and the Arancar. A Zanpakutō's shape and abilities are based on their Shinigami's soul. Once a Shinigami learns his/her sword's name, they are able to communicate with one another and grow stronger together. Zanpakutō are born with their Shinigami and they die along with their Shinigami..When released, they can display a burst of power. They are one with the Shinigami, and they share a Shinigami's Heart. Jinzen is a method is the only way to carry on a proper conversation with one's Zanpakutō. One places their sword over their lap and takes a meditative pose and then forces their mind to become one with the Zanpakutō. All Zanpakutō have two levels of release. :] I started reading the manga like a year ago. I love it, but i'm really sad that it comes out soooooo slow. The latest that came out right now is 167. If you guys haven't read it, u should it's really nice. Also anime came out on it, but only 25 episodes, i wish they would make season two, because it barely covers 50 manga chapters.
